PR is the Power of Influence

To rouse attention, motivate action, define leaders, ignite a trend, shift mindsets, lead a conversation or control the narrative through carefully guided messaging and leveraging a strong understanding of earned and placed press and media relations.

Power Collective is a PR and communications agency preserving the dynamic of a boutique agency fused with curated expert talent to deliver impactful campaigns for real estate, design, luxury lifestyle and travel clients.

Founder & Principal

Power Collective was founded by Marcia Martinez Laas, a PR powerhouse with two decades of leadership in public relations, marketing, advertising, writing, publishing and community involvement.

She founded Power Collective in 2018 with and intention to maintain a dynamic boutique firm with passionate, savvy publicists and marketing collaborators who are the best at what they do.

Her ability to develop curated content and shape newsworthy stories led to a portfolio of coverage including The Today Show, 60 Minutes, The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Conde Nast Traveler, Robb Report, Town & Country, W, Departures, Travel + Leisure, T Magazine, VOGUE, AD, Elle Décor, and many more.

Prior, she served as a managing editor at publications including Bal Harbour Shops Magazine, Lincoln Road Magazine, Las Olas Magazine and International Yachtsmen. Early in her career, she worked in advertising and PR firms on travel, luxury retail and spirit accounts.

An active leader in the community and board member of several non-profits, Marcia’s passion for cultural, charitable and community organizations also links to creative and valuable partnership development for her clients.
